Putting the fun into Fun Palaces

The church was full of families and adults, creating things and getting involved. A huge snake was erected and decorated with painted hand prints. The children had great fun crawling through it – just too small for the adults – shame! Other arts and crafts were pebble painting, people designing, mask making and colouring in, with lots of glitter and paint!

Sue, Lorraine and Ann prepared an impressive and beautiful tapestry called “The Tree of Life” and invited everyone to write a message on it e.g. Love one another and God is love. The Tree is now full of phrases and images of dragons and stags, as they are associated with St Petroc! The tapestry will be put up in the church for anyone to come and see it and read the messages. High energy finished the last hour of Fun Palaces at St Petroc’s Church today – KBSK – a fabulous dance group – did a workshop. It was brilliant.
