The briefing

Workshop 4 of the trainee curator course is a chance to create signs for items the young people selected at a previous workshop.

Leah, Bodmin Keep's Learning Manager, asks: “Did the signs in the museum include pictures and colours?”

No they do not but the curators in training are going to change that!

Using ipad and Canva Group work Transferring research to Canva

Using Canva, a versatile software app, groups help each other write an A6 sized sign with title, information and image as well as the author. The app allows experimentation with colour, style and layout as well as writing for a specific purpose and audience , namely, visitors to the museum.
